The new Smart Color Classification library (SmartColor) in WiT 8.1, can be trained to recognize color classes simply by showing examples. You supply a number of RGB triplet values and a corresponding class number to SmartColor. SmartColor generalizes and optimizes the color space segmentation in a very computationally efficient representation. Then, show a new RGB triplet value to SmartColor and it can tell you which of the known classes it belongs to.

To make it easier to train, SmartColor also provides operators that allow you to train all pixels in a specified region.

SmartColor can also segment an entire color image into class types.
